Good afternoon Sisters and Brothers.

Below is the USPS National Employee Emergency Hotline.

As you are aware, forecasts are calling for an impending snowstorm that may significantly impact travel and working conditions. Your safety is of the utmost importance.

We urge all members to exercise caution when commuting to and from work and while performing duties on the workroom floor. Please be mindful of icy conditions, reduced visibility, and any hazards caused by snow accumulation.

Pursuant to article 14 in the CBA, management is responsible for providing a safe and healthy work environment. If you encounter unsafe conditions such as untreated walkways, slippery floors, or hazardous travel assignments, report them immediately to a supervisor. Do not take unnecessary risks. Follow established safety procedures, dress appropriately for the weather.

Please look out for one another, stay informed, and prioritize your health and safety.

Stay safe, and thank you for the dedication you show every day.

In Union Solidarity,
